Device ID is an Android app developed by Evozi (Evozi PLT). Others apps created by Evozi are: HTTP Injector, Speed Indicator - Network Speed.

Device ID first became available on 31 Aug 2012. It is estimated that Device ID has been downloaded between 1000000 and 5000000 times from the Play Store.

Device ID 1.3.2 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
